Poured the bottom concrete pad that will hold the stairs that lead into my house yesterday. This line from one of my Typewriter Series poems was scratched in with an old nail to christen it. Every set of feet that walk up it will touch these words, every set of eyes will know. There is poetry in every inch of this thing we have built, hiding, waiting, and holding tight.
