The Concert Experience of a Lifetime…The Joy Formidable
Nashville, TN, The Mercy Lounge, April 8th
After an incredible set, The Joy Formidable came out for an encore and, at the end, Ritzy Bryan pulls off her guitar and puts it around my neck. My fingers slipped on the pick at one point and I tore up a nail and blistered my middle finger! haha! All in the name of rock! What an unforgettable night! And for those guitar players out there, I really don’t know WHAT I was doing with my left…but it was so much fun! I’m so glad that my husband, Jim, was recording!!
I got to tell Ritzy during the meet and greet that the band is featured in Lighting: The Book of Luke and Gina! I was almost as excited to play with her long-hair wiener dog, Tony.
