REVIEW:

Warning: This title is erotic and contains homosexual content, graphic sex, violence, and strong language. Readers uncomfortable with rough sexual situations should not purchase this book.

Perhaps I should have read the warning but sadly I didn't see it until after I had read the book.

After seeing tons of review about this book, I had hight hopes for it, but wow it sucked. Maybe it's just me but this really isn’t for me and frankly I felt insulted.

I kept hoping to know more about why his wings got clipped and even though I found out that his ex was behind it, it took a lot of pages to get there.

The sex scenes were annoying, brutal and borderline cruel to me, I mean really, fucking a guy with a knife? Choking him until he sees black spots? A father raping his son? Sex with no lube and the word ‘tear me’ in a sex scene, fuck no!

The characters were so unbelievable and one dimensional I was unimpressed, and don’t get me started with the weird names, I could ignore that but what I couldn't ignore was the lack of concern, interest or connecting with any of the characters, even when they were being ‘raped’

The plot and subplot were terribly executed, the story had a great premise. I mean, the thing about God and Satan being lovers, is an interesting and new take and I honestly expected it to be explored, I expected to know more about what his work in heaven was, and how/why things turned sour, and maybe I missed it after skipping from 50-95% of the book, but to be fair I really couldn't stand it.

Maybe the next book in the series would be better.

SYNOPSIS:

Warning: This title is erotic and contains homosexual content, graphic sex, violence, and strong language. Readers uncomfortable with rough sexual situations should not purchase this book.

Though mortals have been convinced that God cares about their souls, nothing could be further from the truth. He created the world as a gift for his lover, Satan. But when Satan left him, he decided to end what he saw as his most grotesque creation.

Satan and his army of demons are man’s only hope…

The demon Kinzer and his lover, Janka, have been sent by Satan to spy on The Raze, a gang of rogue demons who are working with God to bring about Armageddon. When someone exposes their true allegiances, the Raze clips Kinzer’s wings and murders Janka. Kinzer manages to escape. He tracks down Satan’s allies to warn them about a mole in their midst when he learns that they’ve located the Antichrist—a powerful weapon that could prevent the apocalypse. Now, he’s on a mission to protect the Antichrist and avenge his lover’s death.
