Anyone familiar to the science-fiction scene in Atlantic Canada is no stranger to the work of Kevin Kendall, who photo-realistic renditions of everything from acclaimed actors to Halloween’s greatest horrors has captured the imagination and awe of anyone who sees them. He is perhaps less well known for teaming up with Engen Books on occasion to produce some glorious covers, such as the international edition of Black Womb.

At Sci-Fi on the Rock 10, Kevin was hard at work for his next Engen Books cover: the first Engen Academic title, the printing of Erin Vance’s 2015 Honours Thesis Song of the Mockingjay: Katniss Everdeen’s agency in Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games series.
