I was hoping you could give me some guidance. I've been looking to pick up a book that explains the history of the Catholic Church/Christian faith. Could you pass along a good recommendation? Something that give a balanced accurate account.

Ascension Press has a nifty DVD series called "Epic".

Also, Paul Johnson has a nice one volume History of Christianity.
