Tartan Week – NYC

2016-04-01-flower-box-DGI won’t, alas, be with the Starz gang in New York this week for the premiere of Season Two (of the Outlander TV series) and the Tartan Week festivities.

I have a family member undergoing surgery on Monday, April 4, and need to be there.

So— have a great time if you will be in New York City, and enjoy the new episode of the Outlander TV show on April 9 (it’s fabulous!).

And if y’all have a moment, any prayers or good thoughts would be appreciated!

-Diana

Arlene I heard somewhere that the surgery went well. Good news! I have STARZ and found out that S2E1 was available on STARZPlay starting today. I watched it last night at 3:00 in the morning. FABULOUS! I won't put in any spoilers for those who are still waiting with their tounges hanging out, but all I can say is WOW!

Kathryn I watched it too on Starz On Demand!!! The thing I love most about the series is how faithful they stay to the books as you've done such a great job of writing them. It would've been a total shame if they veered off track. Any changes made seem understandable given the visual format. I just hope the series keeps getting renewed as I want to see all the books adapted. This is, hands down,my favorite series. It's because of the TV series I began reading the books (had to know what happened next). I'm not even a big reader, but, because of a rate syndrome I was born with, Klippel Trenaunay Weber, I've not been working and focusing on medical stuff. These books have been an amazing getaway for me. They really make me want to visit Scotland. I also love history and how they combine the past with different cultures. Just a great series!!! I hope your family is doing well and sugery went well. I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I'm off to read book 5 now!
