I am so excited Amy for you to start Quickening. I love, love, love your Little Godness series. I want my own Bracken.

Guys, I couldn't possibly forget my LG fans--you all gave me faith when there was none to be had. I'm SO looking forward to Q!
I've just been re-reading my favourite scenes in Keeping Promise Rock (and breaking my heart all over Crick and Deacon again!) so am beyond excited to hear about Living Promises. My fingers are definitely crossed. And the sound of a re-visit....bliss! *happy dancing*And Yearning sounds...intriguing :)
I am sure I will - keep on dancing and like Living Promises :)I've been thinking about why I keep going back to KPR. I think it's because...through everything they go through, Crick & Deacon love each other...and their family, the family they built, the family that built around them.
I don't know if I could cope with such a family. Family is...pretty much a dirty word for me ATM. But, the KPR family...I would like to think I would make an exception. Although I think I'd fight it, just like Mikhail :)
I know-- family CAN be really painful. But it can also be really wonderful. LP has some of the more painful aspects of family, actually-- with a subtext of "This is why sometimes we pick our own!" I'm glad KPR makes you happy;-) I'm really proud of all three books:-)
I'm still hoping for the wonderful 'pick your own' family :)And you should be oh so proud of the Promises books. If you don't mind my saying, you write...books from the heart and...books that remind you to hold on to hope, to hold on to the belief that you will find where you belong. That's why I love them so much.
I don't mind you saying so at all. When people say things like that, it makes me feel like my writing is important which is good, because it recently got me into a great deal of trouble, and it's always good to be reminded that I got into that trouble for something real:-)

Your writing is definitely important and...real. But I'm sorry to hear about the trouble it caused. *hugs*

*grimaces* It's actually quite a bit--I can't really talk about it, but it's not a small thing. I'm hoping when the dust settles it will be okay, but we'll have to see.

I purchased my copy of Yearning the first day it was out...and so did my reading buddy...So glad you're working on Quickening...I've re-read the series and love all the characters in the series. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate and I'm greatful for your committment to your fans.
Love Ya...
Love ya back, sweetie--and you know, if my fans weren't the best in all of explored space, I wouldn't have kept at it:-)
