Delightful! This is a collection of short stories that will put a smile on your face and a glow in your heart. Each story is unique and could actually fit into different genres of literature, from fantasy to modern-day military intrigue. I found myself completely enthralled with this book. The voice of the narrator can be truly felt, guiding you through this wonderland of work.
This book will appeal to a variety of readers, but especially those who love a quick read and are intrigued by a drastic switch in style and pace between stories. This is not a collection of humorous stories; these stories are serious and sometimes sobering, each presenting a little slice of life as lived by its narrator. Each character is imbued with a specific personality that remains true to form throughout the story. The stories took my imagination into overdrive and I am still thinking about them.
Once in a while, an author will create a collection of short stories that breaks the mold and attempts to transform the way people think about short stories. Moses has done an absolutely masterful job of presenting his readers with short stories so beautifully written that the characters will stay in your mind long after the stories are read. This collection of short stories is quite enough to demonstrate Moses’ remarkable ability to write good stories in virtually any genre. Moses has demonstrated his talent and genius for composing good, solid, provoking and exciting short stories.
