Meet Dr. Alyssa Morgan and Issie Kulsky, two more characters from DUST MCALAN AND THE HEART OF THE SERPENT!
Dr. Alyssa Morgan is an Irish archaeologist specializing in Ancient Egypt. Once upon a time, she’d been a promising young academic on her first full expedition to Giza, where she met and fell in love with Dust McAlan. Then he stole some of her research and ruined her work. Then she got really mad and punched his lights out. He deserved it. However, when a wealthy philanthropist approached Alyssa with the idea of discovering Atlantis, she knew that there was only one person who would be able to point the group in the right direction. Issie Kulsky is Dust’s 21-year-old adopted sister. As the curator of the Mesoamerican Exhibit at the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History, Issie knows her way around textbooks and fieldwork. She used to go on expeditions with Dust and her grandfather, Professor Emil Kulsky. But Dust left home six years ago in a whirlwind of anger, and Issie hasn’t forgiven him yet. So when Dust comes calling to get Issie’s help, she isn’t about to let him forget his mistakes.
