Writing a book is only the first step to becoming a professional author. Yes- if you are writing a book in hopes of publishing, this makes you a professional author. So before you submit your book to a publisher, keep a few things in mind:
When working with others: editors, proofreaders, cover design, book management.. whoever! Keep in mind that you are all in a business relationship.
