Recognizing God In Your Daily Walk

Be-still.jpgBe Still and Know that I am God Psalm 46:10

My Utmost For His Highest

In the face of obscurity, in the face of ridicule, in the face of failure hanging onto the word of God will always bring about the victorious life.

My biggest fear was never that God would not come through for me, no He had always done that. Experience had shown that God was capable of doing the thing He had promised. My biggest fear was the humiliation of failing and causing others to see that this failure was not only me b...

Diane I think we all feel that way sometime in our life. We are scard that we will falil God and he will turn away from us. God will never turn his back on us. He will always be there to pick us up as long as we believe in him. All we have to do is ask.

message 2: by Robin (new)

Robin so true, Diane. I used to pray to God and thought he never answered, but he answered in his own way.

message 3: by Diane (new)

Diane Yes, God does seem to answere in his own way. It may not be the way we want it, but he does. God works in mysteries ways.

Robin Amen to that!

message 5: by Diane (new)

Diane Yes, Amen to that. God has surprised me many times when I felt down and he was not answering me. He is always there thou even though we think he is not.

message 6: by Robin (new)

Robin I know, even though I don't attend church, I do believe in God. Thank you for the encouraging words.

message 7: by Diane (new)

Diane I'm glad that I could help. God is always there. We may not think he is, but he is and he answeres.

message 8: by Robin (new)

Robin Yes, I do agree with you. Sometimes as humans we want immediate answers and that is not always the case. We are impatient and we want help immediately. It took seven days to make the world, so it may take longer to get out problems squared away and solved.

message 9: by Diane (new)

Diane Yes, we do get impatient. God will answer us as he thinks we should get the answer. It may take days, months or just hours, but he will do it as he feels we need it. It may not be what we think it should be, but he feels it should be for us.

Robin that is so true, thanks for your words. My brother is in Japan where the earthquake and tsunami hit, and I am trying to make sense of it. He is okay, for now. I am just wanting him home right now.

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Amen!

message 12: by Diane (new)

Diane So sorry to hear about your brother. God keep him and all the people where the quake and tsunami hit safe in the palm of his hand. Will pray that God brings your brother home safe to you and your family.
