Sometimes you get reminded that life is pretty great.

Yesterday,






It snowed a bit, and rained a bit, and there was some sleet and some hail.






All day long it was cold and gray and cloudy, and when I went to bed I thought oh well real spring will be here soon enough





Then this morning I had to get in the car and drive about an hour, and as I started to make my way through the city and down the highway,






The whole world seemed like it was made of crystal.




It was so beautiful that I briefly wished everything would always look like this...



So beautiful I wished it would never go away.







But even as I wished I knew that part of its beauty came from the fact that it was so fleeting.
