Moment & Motion – Subtler

 

Happy Easter!

I was out taking pictures of birds this morning when one flew directly overhead at full speed. I wildly pointed the camera in the general direction of its flight trajectory and pressed the shutter. I came back with this stunner.

The bright morning sun looks like an explosion in the sky. If you look very closely you’ll see the bird  just beneath the ball of sunlight. Though very feint, the bird is flying with its wings down and seems to be heading toward the trees..
