Just saw that writer Phyllis Gotleib has passed away. link to obituary on BoingBoing, her page at LibraryThing

She was one of my favorite writers when I was growing up, and I loved her short stories. My favorite books of hers were The Kingdom of Cats, A Judgement of Dragons, and Emperors, Swords, Pentacles. I especially loved the novella in A Judgement of Dragons, where the two alien characters go back in time to fight an entity that is trying to stir up an attack against the Jewish community
