BOOKLIST Raves about BONE FACTORY

When unemployed engineer David Pierce is offered a job a remote Canadian hydroelectric station, he grabs it. Although rumors of unsettling mutilations and strange laboratory findings plague the isolated woodlands power plant, the position comes complete with an inviting home and chance for David to redeem himself after being blacklisted by a previous employer. What's more important, the paycheck will allow David and his wife, Helen, to provide desperately needed psychiatric care for their daughter Jessie, whose nightmares and waking visions are becoming increasingly disturbing. One vision features a terrifying "blue man" surrounded by a menagerie of corpses somewhere in the woods. David quickly learns how accurate Jessie's visions are when he returns home from work one day to find wife and daughter missing and time running out before a madman adds them to his gruesome collection. Kenyon's masterful third novel weaves supernatural realism and vivid characterizations into a powerfully suspenseful plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
