Tall, attractive with symmetrical features probably akin to the latest hot celebrity, and physically fit would be my guess.

So true, L. Plus, the phrase usually assumes hetero sexuality, which is fine in a hetero romance novel, but the assumption seems so narrow when there are infinite combinations of personality traits that work for some people and not for others.
