Editing Tip: Change your Format

Whenever it comes time to dig into a draft (first or
tenth), I change my format.


Personally, I find it IMPOSSIBLE to do a good edit on the
computer. My brain is not set to that function. For this reason, I have to
change my MS physical format. I go from writing on the computer/my ipad, to
editing with LOTS of colorful pens on good ol’ fashioned paper.
