You know, someone made a statement about this on Twitter tonight, and I’m not 100% sure I understand.  Has Deadpool made crude comments about autism in the comics?

I honestly haven’t read much Deadpool in the last few years, so I could entirely be missing something.  But it is important to remember that Deadpool isn’t responsible for what he says, it’s the writers who write it and editors who approve it. Deadpool is not always a hero, sometimes he’s not even a good guy, and sometimes in the desire to be ‘edgy,’ writers might have him say obnoxious shit. The problem isn’t the character, that’s on us, the writers.

The Deadpool I like is a jerk, sometimes, but not a bigot.  I hope this helps!
