My Senior/Ambassador Girl Scout troop has been working on the Audio-Visual Production interest project this winter. They've planned out a music video (which we're hoping to film soon when the weather's a bit warmer) and tried their hands (and feet & mouths) at being Foley artists over a scene from the third Pirates of the Caribbean film, and we're scheduling a trip to a local news studio to get a behind-the-scenes look at how they film the news.
However, I was most impressed by the pro-book PSA they wrote, executed, and edited for their service requirement. This clever parody of the ubiquitous Apple app commercials playfully shows why books are still relevant—there are books for just about anything, and unlike apps, they can be found just about everywhere. Check out their impressive handiwork, and please feel free to spread the link!
