For a while now, I've used a small corner desk in my office. It served its purpose (insomuch as its purtpose was housing a computer and gathering dust) but I was never comfortable working from it. I spent more time on the couch than I did at the desk. When I made the decision to write full-time, one of the first things I did was order what I've been calling "my big boy desk." I figured it was time to have a workspace that encouraged me to… you know… work. It's nothing fancy, but I really like it. A few people have asked me to share photos of it, so here ya go: shots of Cullen Bunn Command Central. This is where I'll be chained for the rest of my days!
(And, yes, I realize my office needs a bit of a makeover to bring it out of the wood-paneled 70s and into the modern era. I've been working two full-time jobs for a while now, so there hasn't been much time for remodeling. Hopefully, I can add this to my list of to-do items soon. Also, if you're one of the people who mentioned this to me recently, you may be an ass.)
