Okay. About being rude.

I can deal with trolls. They don’t really bug me.

But I have a few people here who email me every day, sometimes several times a day, after I have told them I will not respond any more.

I can only spend so much time responding to email and DMs.  I think I probably do more such responses than virtually anyone in comics, and it’s all unpaid, and on top of my regular work assignments, which are many.

I am happy to do that. But responding does not mean I owe you email or responses every single day for the rest of my life. And if you are asking for personal responses (no kidding, some of these people email me four times a day, sometimes under their handles and sometimes under ‘anonymous’ with the exact same wording) when I have already answered your question repeatedly, you are not endearing yourself to me.

If you are asking for this much of my time while posting insulting, completely dishonest and inaccurate crap about me elsewhere, I am absolutely baffled as to why you think I owe you any more of my time than I have already spent on you.

I don’t know if you realize how creepy it looks to be sent essentially the same private posts day in and day out for YEARS. I have tried to be kind, I have tried to be understanding, but enough is enough, and your posts will no longer be read, not even looked at.

99% of the people who DM me could not be nicer. Even the obvious trolls sometimes have at least a point of view and make their points and move on. Emailing me EVERY DAY FOR YEARS with only minor variations in the wording is not cool. Seriously. I don’t care what the reasoning is at this point, I just will not be reading this stuff anymore, under any circumstances.

I’m sorry, but enough is well past enough, and no one should have to deal with this shit.
