Marching In

It’s dull here on this first weekend in March. The trees are bare, and the sky’s unfinished drywall. With the snow melted away–not that I’m complaining–the world outside my windows is brown and gray. Right now feels like a holding pattern before the hopes (so often dashed) of April. But I don’t wish time away, unless I’m in the dentist’s chair.
