I wrote this a bit ago and I wrote it during a hard time, a hit bottom kind of time, that I think many people, many of you, have been in or are in or could be in from time to time. I wrote it to show how low we can go and still rise from, how far down we can fall and still see light. We are all going to be empty, completely, in our lives at some point…what matters is how we fill ourselves up when we get there. What matters is That we fill ourselves up. I read this now and remember, exquisitely precise, how it felt being there. I read this now and feel proud and thankful for allowing myself to be just rubber enough to bounce back from it. I hope you find hope in knowing someone else has been there too. Someone else has risen.
