Do You Like Your Reading Soft- or Hardboiled?
Well, I like it either way since I have a hardboiled title, LAKE CHARLES, and a softboiled title, QUIET ANCHORAGE, for sale.
All Geminis, me included, have split personalities. But seriously though, fine established authors like Lawrence Block and Bill Crider have written books in both modes. Even Hammett did Sam Spade and the Charles' in THE THIN MAN. Probably other writers that I can't think of (anybody that you know of?) right now have also.
The early reviews on LAKE CHARLES and QUIET ANCHORAGE have been favorable, a relief to me. I'm grateful to the readers and reviewers.
So, now it's back to reading or writing or whatever you're supposed be doing.
