Tears are words that need to be written

Lots of great advice here! I totally relate to all these author quotes, especially the Sylvia Plath one! ;-)

Peace, love & great writing to all,

Sherrie Miranda's historically based, coming of age, Adventure novel “Secrets & Lies in El Salvador” is about an American girl in war-torn El Salvador:

Her husband made a video for her novel. He wrote the song too. You can watch it on my Home page. Or go to YouTube & type in the title of the book! ;-)

A Writer And His Thoughts, Meaning In Life

living between pages fairy tales Living between pages of fairy tales.

Tears are words that need to be written, feelings from deep within life’s experience and the pains of inspiration, you look for the  meaningful words  to evoke an emotion in the reader. Writers write from deep within from their life experiences. Your words have to evoke emotion in the reader. No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader. You write with feeling. You don’t want to make it feel like writing , you have to make it feel like a story.

There is no magic formula, it takes rewrite, rewrite, and finding the right word to evoke that emotion or image in the reader. There are no short cuts, it takes a lot of work and patience.  A writer is working when looking out the window, and  is by nature a dreamer.
