What do you eat for breakfast normally? I know that's a weird question, but I'm a breakfast rut and it sucks. And you have an incredible body, so you must eat healthy. Xo
Aww shucks, thanks!
A trainer I worked with in the past told me it’s ideal to get 30 grams of protein out of your breakfast… but for the record I don’t think I’ve ever managed that. A disclaimer that I’m a vegetarian and by NO means a nutrionist. (But my friend is! She’s amazing, you can check out her site here for better and more legit recommendations than mine)
But since you asked, I normally split breakfast in two - I’ll do a liquid first, wait an hour or two and then have the rest of it. I don’t know why, force of habit I guess.
My favorite options for part 1:
Breakfast smoothie (nonfat greek yogurt, almond milk, whatever fruit I have to use up)Green smoothie (I like the Bolthouse or Naked one)Coffee with a splash of 1% organic milkStarbucks Chai with either almond milk or 1% organic milkGlass of almond milk or 1% organic milkFor part 2:
Luna bar with peanut butter (I love the peppermint chocolate one, I eat that one basically exclusively haha)An eggo waffle with peanut butter and half of a cut up bananaSmartStart cereal with either almond milk or 1% organic milkVanilla greek yogurt (the Chobani 100 cal cup) with granola and berries on topBanana with peanut butterDefinitely check out Blueprints Beauty by my friend Marita for healthier recommendations from a real nutritionist!
