Hate them!!! Well, I guess I kinda like them since you're wanting the next book. Which is also why I hate them!! They make me anxious!!! One really good example... The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. OMG I just about pulled my hair out on that one!!! And now I have to wait till October for book 2?! What craziness is this!?! lol, got a little carried away there :P
It really depends on the cliffhanger. Generally I don't like them but sometimes they are OK. I figure if it's a good enough book, it doesn't need a cliffhanger to keep you reading the series, you just want to.
