Just passing the day, cutting my toenails and such. Although...
...The King's Speech did well at the Oscars, then? Best film, best screenplay. Not bad, given that it's basically just people talking, and that it depends almost entirely on characterisation. "Characterisation", mind you, not "snappy but meaningless arguments between characters". Ho hum.
Oh, and The Last Airbender won the Razzie award for worst picture at the same time. Because, y'know, people tend to prefer proper characters to action / SF-movie cliches and "cutting edge" CGI.
Just saying.
