1) Gary Panter is painting, working on a new Jimbo comic and, and also working on a new Devin Gary & Ross album.



2) Sung J. Woo's first novel, Everything Asian, comes out in paperback on July 20. The launch will be at the Asian American Writers' Workshop in New York, at 9 pm on July 23.



3) Shelagh Power-Chopra has launched a shop, Goot Dings!, where she uses narration in the item posts.

1) There's a new interview with Nicholas Rombes — regarding his "10/40/70″ project at Filmmaker Magazine. Also, his story in two parts — "The Color Spectrum Fiasco" and "PZL Bielsko SZD-40" — appeared recently at Metazen.


2) Sari Wilson is collaborating with Josh Neufeld on a original comic for Oxford American's upcoming FUTURE issue.

1) Rick Moody will publish his new novel, The Four Fingers of Death (Little, Brown), on July 28.

2) Margot Livesey says: "I adored David Malouf's new novel, Ransom. Malouf approaches the death of Patroculus, and Achilles' response to that death, from his own unique angle. The result is beautiful, moving and, dare I say, elevating."

3) Naomi Novik's latest novel, Tongues of Serpents, comes out on July 13. She'll be touring around the US from July 13-22.
