Author Updates

1) Sara Ryan recently wrote "Fair Trade," a story for the Welcome to Bordertown anthology forthcoming in 2011 from Random House, edited by Holly Black and Ellen Kushner. The story is in comics form with art by Dylan Meconis, with whom Ryan previously collaborated on "Click."

2) David Abrams is blogging about Fobbit, a serio-comic novel in progress about the Iraq War.

3) Ron Currie Jr.'s second novel, Everything Matters!, was released in paperback yesterday by Penguin. Everything Matters!

1) Rebecca Wolff has published a new issue of Fence, the biannual journal of arts and literature.



2) David Shields is finishing a biography of J.D. Salinger; the co-author is Shane Salerno. He's also finishing edits of a Norton anthology of essays about mortality by contemporary writers; the co-editor is Bradford Morrow.

1) Kurt Andersen has a story in Stories, the new anthology of short fiction edited by Neil Gaiman & Al Sarrantonio and published by HarperCollins.



2) Merrill Markoe is an intermittent panelist on "Curb: The Discussion," a talk/analysis of Curb Your Enthusiasm hosted by Susie Essman. It airs AFTER the new syndicated run of Curb on The TV Guide Network. She is working on her new book of essays which will be out in 2011.
