Ashe, what am I supposed to do when he makes me feel like I’m drowning and flying with my feet on the ground? When I’m happy I’m too intense and when I’m sad he thinks I’m intolerable but he encourages me and I see him years down the line. He broke me bu

Someone who doesn’t love you when you’re sad doesn’t love you at all.
Someone who finds your joy “too intense” instead of sharing in it is a waste of your energy and your time.

Good love doesn’t feel like drowning. It feels like breathing pure oxygen.

sext: I am starving and you are the city at night. I am all hands and hard edges–you are the safe way home. I am hungry. I am hungry. You left the door unlocked, the whole time.

This is one of my favorite poems I’ve ever written, even if the thumbnail makes it look like I’m casting a magic spell very angrily.

Maybe God is what holds the roof up.

Maybe we built Her together.”

will you have a valentines day chapbook this year? I've been very disappointed the past two years I've missed buying them. :c I didn't want to miss it this year if you were releasing one/had presales going on this months? Please and thank you<3

Thank you so much for your interest! I’m very sorry to say that there won’t be a Valentine’s Day chapbook this year. I really tried to get something together, but the last year has been draining on my mental, emotional, and physical health in ways I could never have predicted. I just didn’t have enough energy to give any to writing, which was awful, but also necessary. I needed to focus on my own survival, and am only just now finding myself able to pick up a pen again.

I could have tried to force a Valentine’s Day chapbook together, but it would not have been the kind of quality that you deserve, or that I want to give.

My goal is to put out a chapbook later this year–not a Valentine’s Day one, but a different kind of chapbook. I haven’t decided what or when, but that’s what I want to do. If anyone has any thoughts on what they’d like to see, they’re welcome to toss ideas into my inbox.
