Gratitude

Just emailed a warm Thanksgiving note to a dear old American friend living and working in London and he cried. So glad I'm home for the holidays. So glad.

My city, Long Beach has embraced Oddry and it's a big ol' warm "come on in and sit a spell" hug. Local indie bookstores Apostrophe and Gatsby are carrying the book and I'll be doing some readings. Yay! Lots to be grateful for this Thanksgiving. www.oddry.com

Love Life

Today is my 15 year anniversary, the temp outside here in So Cal is 70 degrees, and my lil dog, Mr. Hammon just howled dutifully and masterfully at a passing fire truck. Oh how he can howl wholeheartedly and handsomely. To watch is so inspiring that I decided to howl right along with him and I'm here to tell you that I highly recommend a good hardy howl.
