O Alexandre é economista e durante dez anos exerceu a sua profissão no setor académico e financeiro, atividades que o levaram a residir no estrangeiro, nomeadamente na Alemanha, Dinamarca e Estados Unidos da América.

A paixão pela escrita e viagens esteve sempre omnipresente na sua vida, e ganhou uma nova expressão a partir de 2009, ano em que fundou o site de viagens Crónicas de “Um” VagaMundo, onde escreve regularmente. Colabora também, pontualmente, com algumas revistas de viagens portuguesas. O livro Caminho do Amor é a sua obra de estreia.
