The power of words

I love words. In my opinion, every writer is addicted to words. Take a minute to think of the power of the written word.
It’s really amazing what you can do with some simple words.
You can make someone feel good. (Beautiful words make me happier).
You can make someone feel bad. (It happens most of the time).
Words have power and writers should use this power to make readers feel good. Writers have the “weapon” of happiness.

Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.

Are you Ready?

You decided to write your first book. That’s great, congratulations! You know you can do it and you think it’s easy. I bet you are thinking that nothing can stop you (that’s cool!). But, at the same time, your day job and many other things demand your attention. Countless questions come up and you keep up wondering, “What about my plans?”
In my opinion, don’t spend your precious, free time doing silly things (don't worry,we all do that). Don’t spend your weekends doing nothing special. Stay home and avoid the noise of the city. It would be great if you could visit another place. (Bear in mind that the beauty of the nature, the silence and the sounds of the environment can help you build your career).
Try to focus on your story. Deal with your characters and discover your writing skills.

What you need
1) Coffee
2) Chocolate
3) Wine
4) Books

What you don’t need
1) TV

When you’ll finish the first chapter, you will close your eyes and you will laugh.
Drink a glass of wine (don’t get drunk) to celebrate and call your friends. It’s not over yet, but the worst part is over.
After a few hours, start writing the second chapter and smile.
