So What ‘Really’ Happened?

'Those who don't know history, know nothing' - Steven Spielberg.

The 1st & the 20th Centuries are among the most impacting in history. They are also the most represented and miss-represented of all.

“BEN HUR II – EXILE” [2015].

Century # 1 marks the hinge point between the modern world and the end of the Hebrew biblical period. No century in recorded history incurred greater paradigm altering impacts on humanity. It is a time when the seedling of Christianity was yet not a religion and when Rome's divine emperors had a Jewish problem.
Rome’s war with the Jews was neither about power nor terrain; nor even against the Jews who otherwise held prominent positions in Rome’s institutions. Many Roman Emperors were married to Jews; some 10% of the Greco-Roman world secretly converted or had a deep attachment with the Hebrew belief.

History says this was a war against the Hebrew Monotheist belief; it is a view consistent with the Jews’ interactions with many nations of the ancient realm.
Rome allowed freedom of belief to all her conquered nations, acquiring a plethora of deities for worship; Rome accumulated 400 Gods. Yet this war was different from all other wars, for Rome also demanded all nations worship the Roman God Jupiter and its divinely appointed Emperors. The Jews would not ‘do as the Romans do’ – they followed strange laws and a belief in an invisible God; Rome saw it as the Hebrew sorcery:
• “So you are the only people who reject my divinity!” – Caligula, 37 AD/CE.
• “Gods are Gods - What difference which one!” – Vespasian, 68 AD/CE.

It became a Holy War. And Rome had much to lose by the Hebrew belief; it threatened the status quo of Rome’s divine emperors as no other force could, incurring a widespread epiphany within the empire. Monotheism will correctly become Rome’s greatest enemy; it will turn history and humanity as no other.

Here, who won this war, Rome or the Jews, becomes conditional to the question being a retrospective or contemporaneous one. It was a time when Christianity was yet not a religion and Islam centuries away. Here, history itself tilted and the un-expected happened; the victor became vanquished and the utterly vanquished prevailed.
According to the Roman archives, Mighty Rome’s victory was shrouded in latent defeat, with the Jews’ “No Surrender’ to the last man and woman on Masada:

• “And it seemed to everybody and especially to them that so far from being destruction, it was victory and salvation and happiness to the Jews that they perished along with the Temple.” – So writes Rome’s most prominent philosopher, Deo Cassius. Vespasian will throw down his victory crown in the Coliseum celebrations; 10,000 Romans will turn sides.

Thereafter, the divine emperor realm itself came to a close, conquered by a new religion that became history’s biggest and most successful one. Christianity emerged as a Monotheist belief when this was least plausible, emerging out of the belly of anti-Monotheistic Rome. This history is opened as never before.

• “Jesus spoke Hebrew, wore Tassels, preached only to Jews, performed sacrifices and had Hebrew writings on his cross” (Acts 26:14).
• "Without Judaism there would be no Christianity, and only with Judaism has Christianity a relationship with origin." – (Hans Kung.)
• “Certainly, the world without the Jews would have been a radically different place. Humanity might have eventually stumbled upon all the Jewish insights. But we cannot be sure..." - (Paul Johnson; author of "A History of The Jews").

• "The war between Rome and Jerusalem deserves to be called one of the most important events in world history. If the Temple might still be standing today, the history of the world would be inconceivably different." - (Moses Hess; "Rome and Jerusalem.

What do you think this war was all about?

“PHILISTINE-TO-PALESTINE” [2016]

• Why are Millions of Christians, Muslims, Copts and others fleeing their homelands in the Middle-East today?
• What is a Caliphate?
• As the primal caretaker of this region, what was Britain’s onus in today’s global chaos and mayhem?

How much don’t you know of the world’s most controversial issue?

Britain is one of history's greatest nations. In 1917 Britannia Ruled. Both conqueror and elevator of many distant lands and triumphant in two World Wars, Britain was duly handed the caretaker role of the Middle East in 1917. Then, in 1920 large deposits of oil reserves were discovered in Arabia. Britain's PM accounted her nation’s follow-up deeds thus:
• “What a heinous, collective crime of history! An act of national perfidy which will dishonour the name of Britain” - (Lloyd George, the Prime Minister of Great Britain; national radio speech.)
• “The original text of the Balfour Declaration had read “Palestine should be reconstituted as the National Home of the Jewish people.” The text was changed to read “the establishment in Palestine of a Home for the Jewish people.” The single word “in” was used subsequently to justify removing all of Transjordan from the British Mandate that resulted from the Balfour Declaration. - [President of Israel, Chaim Weizmann, Trial and Error, 1949, p 257]
• “A clerical error by the British Colonial Secretary Malcolm MacDonald, that was intended to be seen only by the Arab delegates, arrived at the office of Dr. Wiseman. In the letter, MacDonald promised severe limits on Jewish immigration, and no Jewish national home without Arab consent.” - (The conference, London St. James Palace; Rafael Medoff/JNS.org).
• “The oft-used term “occupied Palestinian territories” is totally inaccurate and false. The territories are neither occupied nor Palestinian. Claims by the UN, European capitals, organizations and individuals that Israeli settlement activity is in violation of international law therefore have no legal basis whatsoever.” - [Courtesy of Israel’s Ambassador to Canada and Negotiator in Peace Agreements with Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon, Alan Baker; ‘The Legal Basis of Israel’s Rights; courtesy JCPA Org].
• “A Division of Destroyers was being employed to ascertain that those who had escaped Hitler did not escape the British capture as they approached Palestine. - [Mr. Malcolm Mac-Donald, the Colonial Secretary, PRO House of Commons Debates, July 20, 1939].
• The British-Hitler-Hajj Amin Deal: “Germany will destroy the entire Jewish people from Europe till the Southern end of Caucasia; then the fuehrer will give Al-Husseini, appointed as Grand Mufti of Jerusalem by Britain, sole authority to destroy all Jews in the Middle-East.” - [Minutes of the meeting; Memorandum of an official of the FM Secretariat in the presence of Reich Minister Grobba in Berlin [fuh 57a.g.Rs; Berlin, Nov 30, 1941].

“Philistine-To-Palestine” is not a politically correct or a fundamentalist presentation. It accounts the modern world's most controversial and shrouded conflict, one that has extended globally across the nations.

The historical imposition of the name Palestine and its derivative adjective Palestinian have not worked, and there is much to learn by its errors. Here, even when the ground talked none hearkened; the omen of the Dead Sea Scrolls was hidden away, its message flaunted; it said Palestine was Judea and Samaria, with no imprints of West Bank. Thereby did the greatest deceptions of the modern world become covered and shrouded. Yet its effects grew and extended; its intended impacts backfired on all sectors across the nations. Perhaps the world is driving on the wrong lane of this highway?
