Sometimes I’ll walk away for a while if I get to a point where I’m not making any progress. That said, I think that the most important thing to do is to learn the craft, and it certainly is a craft. Fifteen years of practicing law and writing hundreds of briefs and motions over those years taught me a lot about telling stories on behalf of my clients, which at the end of the day aren’t so very different than other kinds of stories(less)
