Kavya Janani. U is the author of the romance novel, With Love, Forever, two standalone sci-fi novelettes (Time Maidens series), and the poetry collections, La Douleur Exquise and From The Land of Longing.

She wrote her first short story, The Ghost Sticker, when she was eight. Since then, she has been writing stories on whatever piece of paper she can find. She publishes her short stories on this blog and her articles on Medium.

Kavya is also a poet and frequently publishes her poetry on Instagram and Medium. She also runs a poetry Substack website, Dreamypoet. Dear Gokulam – How a Children’s Magazine Sowed My Love for Writing

A few days ago, I bought the first issue of Tinkle magazine for my 7-year-old daughter, so that I could inculcate in her the habit of reading magazines. I have occasionally bought Magic Pot for her in previous years. She would do the puzzles, colour the characters, and read the stories that were easy for her to understand, while I’d read to her the stories that required a bit more comprehension. N
