Whispers in the Wind

My new novel, featuring my characters from "The Blood Trilogy" and "Devil in Eden."

When I started writing,I had no idea what path they would take me down, and this is the result.

Step into the evil world of Human Trafficking, a family torn apart by abduction, a child taken to serve as High Priestess for an African Cult, her Mother sold into slavery, and the world of sex trade where nothing is as it seems, and it is all about greed.
Corrupt officials, unemployment, poverty, and power all thrown into the mix with a touch of erotica to steam up the windows.
The search for the child and woman moves from the wilds of Zambia, to the bright lights of Johannesburg, South Africa.
Join Piet van Zyl and Veronica Strydom in their search for Debi, but be warned, Veronica finds something else that she has not been looking for.
Follow Henri Le Vee, Special Agent into the sleazy world of abduction and sex trade, where he joins forces with an undercover agent who strips to get what she wants, and she has Henri in her sights.
Join Adele on her journey into slavery, her misery, her fears and her sexual awakening, as she’s thrown head first into terror and must use whatever she has to survive, if she is to ever see her family again.
This is a story that will take you and shake you, make you laugh, and bring tears to your eyes, the suspense will keep you turning the pages, the thrills will make you want more, but most of all, Whispers in the Wind will entertain you until the last page.

Blood Moon Over Africa

On Special at Amazon Kindle for the next 7 days. $0.99.

Take a journey into the darkness of Africa where superstition comes face to face with reality, and leaves you wondering what is fact and what is fiction

Review by: Kathy Rudman on Dec. 31, 2014 :
From the start of the book it grabbed me and had me in it's hold. Loved the contrast of quiet calm descriptive passages suddenly erupting into the suspense of the unexpected. You never know what this writer is going to explode onto the next page. Several twists and turns with a shock ending !

High Praise from a Goodreads Author

I had to share this on my Blog. It made me feel very humble. Taken from Angel Ernst Blog on her website http://angelcernst.weebly.com

My New favorite Author
1/24/2015 1 Comment

Today I sit down and write about some of my favorite Authors. Of course there are the very well known and popular Authors out there; such as Brandon Mull (Fable Haven series) Cassandre Clare, Kami Garcia of course!! But there has been a new addition to my all time FAVORITE Authors..
Since I have taken that scary leap into self publishing and networking I have come across a few very genuine and lovable Self Published Authors like myself. On the top of that list is Mr. Paul Zunckel. His writing is both terrifying and beautiful to say the least. As he resides in South Africa his stories are set in the African bush. What a mirror image of his writings!! Beautiful and yet terrifying. Mr. Zunckel has brought forth some of the best new characters to date. As with Mr. Brandon Mull the characters you can fall in love with grow attached to and feel like they are apart of your family each time you read a new tale. He makes you worry for them, feel pride in them when they over come the challenges set before them, I could go on but I will stop there. As I stated before the stories are great! A good author will make you enjoy a good story but a GREAT Author will draw you in and leave his/her mark on you for the rest of your life. Mr. Zunckel has done just that, and if you take one moment to read his works you may find yourself agreeing with my assessment. Mr. Zunckel is a GoodReads author and you can find his works on Goodreads along with my reviews of his works.

Reviews for Blood Moon

Review by: Sub01 on Jan. 13, 2015 :
Talk about a roller coaster ride, a great story that keeps you guessing, and definitely an author to follow. His take on Horror/Thriller is such a fresh approach. It was so good, I could not put it down until the final page.

Absolutely great book. Well worth my reading marathon as I could not put it down once I started. Great horror story mixed with witchcraft and ancient myth. A truly scary demon stalking the wilds of Africa, I wouldn't want to run into to here!!!

Reviews for Blood Spoor

Review by: Sub01 on Jan. 17, 2015 :
A very well written follow up to his Blood Moon. The characters in the novel are believable and I found them growing on me. The story is fast pasted with twists and turns. The use of superstition and the suspense it creates grips you as a reader and makes it a very worth while read. All the best to the author.

Reviews for Blood Demon

Dec 16, 2014Angel Ernst rated it 5 of 5 stars
One of the best follow ups to a series I have ever read. Revenge is high on the mind of the new culprit in this third book. And the revenge he brings forth on our heroes is a great and powerful Demon that knows the group all too well!! A perfect blend of traditional magic and new world ideas!!

Review for Devil In Eden

Review by: Kathy Rudman on Jan. 16, 2015 :
Sleep Tight ! HOW ? Another quick paced book full of suspense and the unexpected. Action packed with rhino poachers, a plane crash and of course - the Devil ! Mr Zuncle, had my heart racing, time and time again. Not only was I reading the words, I felt as if I was right there. He sets the scene so well, that you can see and smell the African bush, and although you know the inevitable will happen, you are gripped by fear. It's wonderful that new characters have been added. Mr Zunckel sculpts and pads his characters so well that you feel as if you know them. I rolled around with laughter at 1:45am one night, when Le Vee turned up again. What a delightful character. Little Debi was so touching, and her bravery, at throwing her box of crayons at the hyena, was so in character oh a child that age. A real plucky little miss! I hope we meet her again. Mr Zunckel has impressed once again. I have not read horror or thrillers for many years, now I'm truly hooked again. A must read !

Oh WOW. I really love the way he paints pictures with his words. Had me on the edge of my seat not wanting to turn to the next page. Then going there and ending up killing myself laughing. I love Piet van Zyl his character has just grown and grown. Monsieur Le Vee is also a great character. Hope to hear from him again in another novel.

Devil in Eden is a really good read, thoroughly enjoyed it and neatly built around Piet van Zyl. What a great character, love him, he personifies the rough and tough Afrikaner.

Once again Mr. Zunckel brings us suspense and intrigue set in the African jungles. This story is beautifully written. I'm glad to see our favorite hero is back again and of course saves the day! High scores for Mr. Zunckel's latest book 5 of 5!!
