C. M. Spoerri wurde 1983 geboren und lebt in der Schweiz. Schon früh entdeckte sie die Liebe zum Schreiben. Sie studierte Psychologie und promovierte im Frühling 2013. Ehe sie von der Wissenschaft zur Arbeit als Psychotherapeutin wechselte, entschied sie sich, ihr früheres Hobby wieder aufzunehmen und begann im April 2013 die vierteilige Jugendroman-Fantasy-Saga ›Alia‹ zu schreiben, die 2014/2015 erschien. Ihre zweite Reihe ›Die Greifen-Saga‹ wurde im Verlaufe 2015/2016 in ihrem Sternensand Verlag veröffentlicht. Weitere Fantasy–Projekte, die in Altra spielen, sind ebenfalls dabei, Gestalt anzunehmen.
