A Grave Injustice published in October 2007 by Archebooks is Delray Beach resident Prudy Taylor Boards most recent novel. She has had three other novels published: Murder a la Carte, in hard cover from Archebooks and paperback from Harlequin Worldwide Mysteries; Blood Legacy from PocketBooks; and The Vow from Leisure Books. Prudy is also the author of 101 Tips on Writing and Selling Your first Novel. In addition, she has taught creative writing, lectured and conducted writing workshops throughout the United States and in Canada. Prudys next novel, The Deadly Cleaver second in the Recipes for Murder series, is due out in 2008.

She edited The Fiction Writer, a magazine for writers distributed nationally and was the managing editor of two regional magazines Lee Living and Home Condo. In Palm Beach Gardens, she was managing editor of Dartnell Corporations sales publications, personally editing Sell!ng and Sales and Marketing Executive Report.

The History of Oceanside Country Club in Ormond Beach which came out in October 2007 is Prudys thirteenth history written for Donning Company Publishers and her eighteenth published book. Her first, Lee County: A Pictorial History, was published by Donning in 1985. Recent books for Donning include The Dunes Golf and Beach Club, Myrtle Beach, SC; The History of Dania Beach, Florida: 100 Years of Pioneer Spirit; The History of Barry University, Miami, Florida; One Mans Vision: The History of the Port Royal Club, Naples, Florida; Venice (Florida) Through the Years; The Renaissance Vinoy, St. Petersburgs (Florida) Crown Jewel; and Mending Minds, Healing Hearts: The History of the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. In 2006, The History Press in Charleston, SC published her Remembering Fort Myers: The City of Palms and Remembering Lee County: Where Summer Spends the Winger.

Prudy was born in Fort Myers, Florida. She attended Stetson University, graduated from the University of Florida and has devoted much of her professional life to preserving the history of her beloved state. She works as a project editor with Taylor and Francis Publishing in Boca Raton.
