Jim Spaulding has always had his head in space. When he couldn't be an astronaut, he helped put others in space. He worked on the Apollo and Viking Programs, as well as computers which captured and analyzed data from satellites and planetary probes.
His expertise in the mechanics of space exploration, and a love for all things science, helps create stories that send readers on exciting journeys filled with touches of reality and plausible science fiction.
Jim believes that we are not alone. This suggests exciting questions: Can Inter-stellar societies exist without faster-than-light travel? What is it to be human, with many races and cultures? His Trilogy, 'Project Earth: A Lost Colony' examines such questions.
