I am the author of a new parenting advice book called Can I Have a Cell Phone for Hanukkah? The Essential Scoop on Raising Modern Jewish Kids (Broadway Books, 2007).

I also write a syndicated parenting column which appears in 50+ publications across the United States, Canada and Israel and am a feature writer for Parents Magazine and numerous other local, regional and national periodicals.

As a mother of four school-age children and a former elementary school teacher (I taught in Atlanta public and private schools for fifteen years), my material comes straight from the trenches of modern parenthood.

I am so thrilled that my book has been embraced by Jewish and non-Jewish readers alike. I welcome questions and comments from all my Good Reads

That title beats everything, Sharon, so I'm adding your book Can I Have a Cell Phone for Hanukkah? to my to-read list.

message 5: by John

John Hi Sharon,

One thing America needs (the whole world, actually) is strong, close families. And through your writing you are making a significant, much needed contribution toward making families stronger and closer!

Thank you for sharing your insights and your writing!

--John

Jeremy I want to apologize for the all the recommendations from me today. I wanted to share the Stoker Award news, and I only pressed the send button once--I'm not sure what happened to create so many messages. Some weird glitch.

Argh...this is terrible...

Again, I'm very sorry.

-Jeremy

Jeremy Here’s wishing you a nifty New Year filled with noiseless noses, neato nicknames, noble Nebraskans, gnarly narcoleptic nebulas, and novel novels about nut-eating narwhals and novercaphobic gnats.

-Jeremy :)

P.S.—I’m currently offering autographed/personally-inscribed copies of my novel, Vacation, with free shipping for those in the US. If there’s anything you could do to help me spread the word about this, I’d really appreciate it. Feel free to click here for details:

Jeremy Hi Sharon!

Here’s wishing you a yippee-filled Yuletime overflowing with yard-long yams, yapping yoyo-yanking yetis, yak-milk yeast-cakes, and yellow yarn-yielding year-end yard-gnomes.

-Jeremy :)

Jeremy Thanks for the friendship, Sharon!

If you don't mind sharing--I'm curious, what's your favorite novel(if you have one)?

Also, I was wondering if you'd do me the honor of reading about my debut novel, Vacation. Your support would mean a lot to me. If you'd like to do me this honor, feel free to click here:

Here’s wishing you a fantastic day filled with fabulous fates, fanciful festivities, and frolicking phantom footstools.

-Jeremy :)
