New Release!!
Today marks one week since the re-release of Out of the Blue, my clean and closed door romance, featuring forced proximity, alpha male, don't touch what's mine, feisty boss lady on a dude ranch in a small town vibes. And THIS publication is my first self-published venture. And I hope you LOVE it.
Out of the Blue was first published ten years ago. Since it was removed from publication in 2021 (publisher closed its doors), I've revised the entire book. It received a BEAUTIFUL new cover, a new beginning, new scenes, and a bonus chapter.
Essentially, it's still the same characters and story line, but OH, SO MUCH BETTER!
And if that's not enough to wet your interest, I even wrote two prequel chapters (one from Katy's POV and one from Asher's POV) from before these characters meet in OotB. Just go to:

COVER REVEAL

For instance, I had a new cover made for Out of the Blue. In fact, it's getting a whole new look including blurb and back cover.
I've revised the story; you still get Kate and Asher, just a new and improved Kate and Asher. With added scenes NOT in the original story. AND, get this, when I re-release the book, you'll be getting a whole new, never seen before, BONUS CHAPTER. I know, right??

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes
I've discovered, and maybe you have as well, that I'm REALLY lousy at updating blog posts. Holy smokes.
Anyhoo, some changes are afoot. First, I may have mentioned this in another post, but in case I flaked on that, here you go: My publisher, Blue Tulip Publishing, has decided to close their doors and have reverted all book rights back to me.
Since then, I have signed with an agent, Stephanie Phillips at SBR Media, who will be my champion in the publishing world. In addition to that, I was approached by Crazy Maple studios, a serialized reading platform, to publish my books with them.
So, for the time-being, my books are ONLY available on the KISS Romance App, or by purchasing a signed paperback from me. I'm hopeful that soon I'll have exciting publishing news for you.
In the meantime, I've revised Out of the Blue. Don't stress--It's still the same wonderful story of Kate and Asher that you love. But I've cleaned it up some and made a couple minor changes. I've also begun a sequel, which is so far titled, Written in the Deep. This is the story of Kate and Asher's daughter. Can't wait to share it with you.

Just A Heads Up
Gah! Can't believe it's been a YEAR since I've last updated or posted a blog... Sorry about that.
Well, here goes... my big update. I thought 2020 was a rough year, but 2021 takes the cake. 2022, you'd best come in softly and leave gently--this is my warning.
The year started off great. The Guardian series was doing well, reviews were excellent. Then my daughter took me on a trip to Cody, Wyoming (My Christmas present) where my debut novel, Out of the Blue, takes place and we got to go on a trail ride and just experience (and fall in love with) the whole area. It's now a strong desire of mine to move out of the PNW and into Wyoming.
In November of 2020, I'd injured my right shoulder at work and it was determined I'd need surgery to repair it. An L&I case was opened and in the process of establishing the need for surgery and to determine if/when to have said surgery, I had a nuclear stress test done. Which I passed, no biggie. Though, I was mildly radioactive for several days. Alas, no cool and interesting abilities manifested from the experience. Shortly after that, my mother passed away from a sudden stroke after having received her second Covid vaccine shot. Then myself and my whole household came down with Covid and I ended up in the hospital with a bacterial pneumonia. Good news, we all survived. Bad news, the much needed surgery had to be postponed until all the blood thinners and steroids were out of my system.
I also purchased a rescue horse. He's recently been gelded and was wild and untouched. So I've been taking my time gentling him. I named him Rowan from the ToG series, because ROWAN.....*all the hearts*
And then, in the midst of all of that, my publisher decided to close their doors. So, all rights have reverted back to me, however, my books are no longer available to purchase until I can get them republished. I HAVE just signed with a literary agent, so that's a big YAHOO and will hopefully have some good news for you soon. Anyway, that's been my year in a nutshell. Sadly, I haven't done much writing... it tends to hurt my shoulder if I use it for too long.
BUT, I have begun work on the next book in the Guardian series. It will be titled: Between Blood and Stone. At any rate, I hope you are all doing well and I thank you for taking the time to read this long post, lol. Take care of yourselves and don't forget to find reasons to smile.

Two More Days!!
Just two more days until BETWEEN EARTH AND EDEN releases!

I shivered again as I finished the last of the coffee, and my skin crawled under all my layers. A light pressure, just there, centering on my right shoulder blade made itself known. The sensation mild, yet annoyingly persistent, as it migrated slowly north, reaching now to the top of my shoulder. Shuddering, I rotated my shoulder, trying to dislodge the feeling. When the skin on my neck prickled, I glanced to the side and screamed at the enormous hairy spider perched there; its front legs reaching up for my face.

I've done a thing... I stepped out of my normal genre of Contemporary Romance and have written a Fantasy duology.
