UrbEx & The Dawning of Dark Hollow Road

As Horror readers, I thought you all might appreciate this explanation. It's a least a partial answer. A writer's most commonly asked question is "Where do you get your ideas from?". Horror writers are especially prone to this sort of interrogation. To quiet that just a bit, I wrote a four part series a few years back on the creation of my psychological horror novel, "Dark Hollow Road". Available NOW through Amazon in paperback and for Kindle.

What's Your Most Memorable Summer Memory?

If you think the summer of 2020 will be memorable, you should talk to the handful of kids who lived through the summer of 1980.

Selected reading from Dark Hollow Road.

Writing hasn't been happening the last couple months, so I decided to put some creative energy into something else I've been wanting to do for a while instead ...

In which I read an excerpt from my psychological horror novel, Dark Hollow Road.

Ghost Town On The Hill

I've been even quieter than usual lately. My apologies. Working from home now that the library is closed for an undetermined period of time isn't all it's cracked up to be. It would be great if I could devote this time to fun work, like writing, but instead I've been relegated to taking online 'library work-related' courses like Excel and the like.

What would be my final week at my office for awhile, became increasingly quiet and eerie. I used those five days as best I could to gather images and video and created a video.
