Winter is coming in...

We have had some weather fronts coming over the Chamonix mountains during the last week or two, plastering the high mountains with termination dust - it makes the mountains appear surreal, and really stand out beautifully.

New snow for my soul

The aftermath of the storm this morning = fresh snow shining brightly on the mountain peaks!

I was inspired to write this book a few years ago, after a dream. It is a series of my thoughts and on the mountains, inspired by my ski-focused adventures, including time spent in the Alps, Japan, British Columbia, and elsewhere.

There are stories, but there are photos too, from me and from some of the people who have shared my adventures along the way.
