I have so been looking forward to delivering the May Hill Arbuthnot Lecture this evening in Santa Barbara. I feel very honored and am deeply grateful to the Association of Library Service to Children (ALSC) and to the committee. I’ll be discussing one of my favorite topics: reading.
We are halfway through Díapalooza, daily postings about Día. Many thanks to Bobbie Combs for her creative work!
I hope you are enjoying creatively celebrating children and linking them to bookjoy this Día month.

Even though Día has now expanded to be a year-long commitment to linking ALL children and families to books, we’d like to thank some of our Día partners who have a special mission to reach Latinos.
