Ugh, I fail again
You know, the life of an illustrator is a tough one - you do a lot of work and get paid very little for it, but you continue to do it anyway because you really don't care if you get paid or not...yet you still want to get paid because you have bills and what not.
It's a viscous life full fun that takes a REALLY long time to get going!
With all of that said, the reason why I haven't kept up with regular blogs is because, well, I've been busy. I've made a few deals with two prominent companies that's consuming most of my time, I have an enormous project I'm doing that connects to the Barbershop Harmony Society, my webcomic The Post Apocalyptic Adventures of Sally and Jack is still going but I'm having to play catch up, and I'm constantly getting commissioned for other things as well.
Needless to say, I'm pack with stuff to do!
But I'm back in the swing of things! Hopefully I'll remember that next week when I need to blog again.

Update on Sally and Jack!
Well I've certainly failed at continually updating this blog. Sheesh! I'll do my best to keep it up!
Good news...I've started drawing out the pages for the Post Apocalyptic Adventures of Sally and Jack, Season 2 just a few days ago! YES! It makes me happy to finally be moving along with this.
I'm also working on a project with another fellow artist. It's an adult coloring book, and we're hoping to have it done before the end of the year. More to come on that as it develops.
Well, off to rest and catch up on a little TV.

projects, projects, and more projects!
Lots going on right now, lots going on! My web comics are moving right along, and my illustration career website is beginning to start up!
But even with three major ongoing projects, I'm still trying to figure out what else I can do to occupy my time. Stories are constantly streaming through my head and I recently sent out a Facebook call to my friends who need an illustrator for their children's stories!I had a few responses, and some may pan out. Fingers crossed!
In the meantime, I'm going to eat some dinner and brainstorm for the coming week!

It all begins
Whenever something good happens to me, I get REALLY excited about it. Like, the fact that me, an illustrator, is consider an author good enough to be GOODREADS official! WOO HOO!!! It makes me happy.
This will be my attempt at keeping up a weekly blogging endeavor - keeping you up to speed on all my creations and what not.
So, without further a due, please check out my online comic, The Post Apocalyptic Adventures of Sally and Jack! It's a story that my 4th graders from last school year wrote and created. All I'm doing is drawing out what they gave me!
New pages are uploaded on a weekly basis, every Sunday night. I currently have a plan of a six issue book, all 22 - 25 pages per issue, with a two week break in between each issue. Right now installment #7 is waiting for all of you wonderful people to check out, and installment #8 will be ready to view Sunday night.
If you're a Tumblr user, and have a Tumblr account, please follow Sally and Jack's post apocalyptic adventures and support the creativity of 28 4th graders. Here's the link... http://postapocalypticsallyandjack.tu...
