Confessions Of A Hair-raising Writer MOM

Like most of you, I've had many times since I began Writer's Alley where life has been too crazy to blog, share important information, or just be silly. Seeing how I didn't connect with you last week, I felt I should at least check in and let you know what's going on.
image creditTwo weeks ago, I was called to a jury pool for jury duty, which axed my week in half. And then last week I had to fulfill my obligation by serving on, not one, but two separate jury trials. Needless to say between family (which included a snow day) and other life obligations, and the Easter holiday, I didn't accomplish much writing. I thought I'd at least get some reading done, but that didn't happen either. Social media devices are frowned upon while serving jury duty. Makes sense. I get it.
Though I have served on a jury before, this past week was interesting. The folks I served with were all wonderful people. A few times the court officer didn't know if we were jurors or people attending a party conference. We really did get along. Everyone was polite and considerate of others' opinions. No one shied away from speaking up or sharing their thoughts for fear of condemnation or teasing. We definitely saw some evidence with different eyes, but we respected each other.
There is hope for this world.
I hope you have a great week. I'll be catching up on writing. Still working on book II of my middle grade series. Stay tuned next Monday when I'll share a new young adult story by Brynn Chapman, the author of BONESEEKER which I absolutely loved!   photo Sheri2.png

All magic comes with a price.
The new school year brings with it a welcome return to normalcy after Alice’s narrow escape from a cursed hotel while on summer vacation. But when a young girl drowns in a freak accident that seems eerily similar to her own near-death experience, Alice suspects there might be something going on that not even the police can uncover.
The girl’s older sister, Eva attends Alice’s school, and Alice immediately befriends her. But things change when when Alice learns that Eva is determined to use magic to bring her sister back. She must decide whether to help Eva work the highly dangerous magic or stop her at all costs. After all, no one knows better than Alice the true price of magic.

The Looking Glass~Book I
Find the diary, break the curse, step through The Looking Glass!
Fifteen-year-old Alice Montgomery wakes up in the lobby of the B&B where she has been vacationing with her family to a startling discovery: no one can see or hear her. The cheap desk lights have been replaced with gas lamps and the linoleum floor with hardwood and rich Oriental carpeting. Someone has replaced the artwork with eerie paintings of Elizabeth Blackwell, the insane actress and rumored witch who killed herself at the hotel in the 1880s. Alice watches from behind the looking glass where she is haunted by Elizabeth Blackwell. Trapped in the 19th-century version of the hotel, Alice must figure out a way to break Elizabeth’s curse—with the help of Elizabeth's old diary and Tony, the son of a ghost hunter who is investigating the haunted B&B—before she becomes the inn's next victim.Google Play | BAM| Chapters| Indies | Amazon| B&N| Kobo| TBD| iBooks
Please give a warm Alleyway welcome to young adult author, Jessica Arnold. She lives in New York City and works as a digital production manager at a fancy-pants NYC publishing house. If she has a spare moment, she's always up for a round of Bananagrams. She likes puppies. She doesn't believe in long bios.
'K, <3 her already! Hi Jessica, we're so happy to have you here. Let's give your readers a starting point about you. What or who inspired you to first try writing? Being a writer has not been a lifelong dream for me. When I was in middle and high school, I struggled with essays so much that I thought I was terrible at writing and simply wasn't cut out for it. It wasn't until I started experimenting with creative writing in college that I realized I loved it. It's been a lesson for me that I can't give up on something just because it's hard. I'll admit, though, that I still hate writing papers.
Honesty IS the best policy to live by. Well, since you've obviously taken to writing novels like a charm what do you see as the most important exercise to lead a writer to success? As far as I can tell, the best way to be a successful writer is to focus on writing something amazing. Thousands of Twitter followers will never compensate for an underdeveloped manuscript. My vote is for honing the craft, being persistent, and letting the rest of the details shake out as they may.
The publishing world is changing so quickly today. Any thoughts? I work in digital publishing—making ebooks is my day job.
Very, very cool! Sorry I interrupted. Please continue.
Because of that I'm often hyper-aware of the changes happening in the publishing world. There's been a lot of hand-wringing recently about ebooks vs. print books, and even the big publishers (or should I say ESPECIALLY the big publishers) have been wrangling with how to transition into a more digital world. Here's what I can say for certain: 1) Print books are NOT going away. The most recent sales data shows that print sales are actually getting stronger and ebook sales are leveling off. So don't worry—readers still want those paper books! 2) Publishing as an industry is actually very stable. There's always a feeling that people simply aren't interested in books anymore. After all, with the Netflixes and the Hulus of the Internet offering entertainment so readily and cheaply, who has time for reading? But don't worry—there are still as many readers as ever looking for a great new read. The opportunity to publish is still there, even though the industry is competitive and harsh. Publishers have been through a rough time lately, but they remain optimistic. And writers, whether they're self-published, conventionally published, or not published at all, shouldn't worry about the industry disappearing anytime soon.
Can I hear a big YAY! for the longevity of print books? WOOT! Let have a fun graffiti wall question.  If you had to outline your current WIP or next story using only images, what images would you choose?  A stone tower, a wolf, a witch, and a firebird.
TOUR SCHEDULE Interesting...Now you've got me wondering. It's been a pleasure learning more about you and your work. Looking forward to more books from you in the future.

YA in the Alleyway~Getting Ready For Your Young Adult Book Release

YA in the Alleyway is my revised meme to give young adult literature the spotlight it deserves. It also gives YA authors the opportunity to share their signature with the world! Feel free to join me any Wednesday.
Please welcome today's featured YA Author Vicki Weavil as she shares her wisdom on book releases. This is an awesome post, so make sure you bookmark it or share it with others!
TOUR SCHEDULEHello Alleywalkers,
I have been asked to talk about the steps to getting ready for a YA Book Release. Since these vary significantly from author to author, I thought I’d discuss this in a rather “tongue-in-cheek” way, based on my own experience – traditional publication with an independent publisher.Step One: You’ve Sold a Book! Now the Real Fun Begins.Okay, the book has sold. It will be published – hurrah!! But, before it is actually released, you will be revising that manuscript. Not once, not twice, but as many times as it takes to whip it into shape. Somewhere in the middle of this process you will decide that you cannot write, and that you are, in fact, the worst author in the entire universe. Do not allow this knowledge to destroy you. Remember that you have a publishing company (and maybe an agent) depending on your pitiful excuse for a book. So carry on, despite the night terrors that whisper to you that your lack of talent will soon be as exposed as a starlet on the red carpet. Carry on, and beat that manuscript into something that vaguely resembles a book. Step Two: The Cover Reveal. At some point, while you are still adrift in the sea of revision and self-doubt, you will be shown mock-ups of the cover for your book. You may love the cover immediately – or not. (I’m fortunate in this regard, as my publisher puts out gorgeous covers). Negotiating over the cover may occur (or not, depending on your publisher). At any rate, once the cover is finalized, there will be a cover reveal. This will usually take place on various online venues, such as blogs, Facebook, or Instagram.  There may also be a blog tour for your cover reveal. Your responsibility at this point is to promote that cover reveal like you have just received another set of stone tablets from Mount Sinai. Tell everyone, more than once.  (Also, thank all the people who help with the cover reveal because they put their time into promoting YOU).Step Three: Promotion and Marketing, or – Building Your Platform Without Scrambling    Your Brains. This isn’t really a separate step, because it begins before the book is sold and continues… basically forever.  You need to create a social media presence as an author, based on whatever platforms you feel comfortable using. (Don’t use something just because it is out there, because that’s too much. Use what you feel works best with your marketing skills and personal style). Also don’t use your platform just to sell – you want to connect with people on a real level. Engage in online groups that interest you, promote other authors, tweet about topics you find fascinating, etc. Sure, mention your book(s), but don’t overdo it. No one wants “Buy My Book” shoved at them ten times a day. Bear in mind that different promotional strategies work better for different types of books, so study what is successful for other authors in your genre. Not long before the release, your publisher will probably ask you to answer interview questions, or write guest blog posts (like this one!) for your release blog tour. There may be a lot, so pace yourself and make sure you give each the proper time and attention. Also, meet your deadline for the posts so the (very helpful) bloggers have plenty of time to work with your material.Step Four: The Book Release! This is the step where you need a good support system, lots of (insert vice of choice here), and maybe a paper bag to breath into every once and awhile. There will probably be a blog tour promoting your release (or some other type of release promotion organized by your publisher). Perhaps you will arrange a book release party with your friends, or through the auspices of your favorite bookstore or library. Or perhaps you (and some friends, if you are lucky) will set up a Facebook release party.  There are a lot of options – just remember to do what makes you feel comfortable, and don’t force yourself to do things that will turn this into a terrible experience rather than an exciting one. Also remember to thank anyone who has helped with your book release, including your publisher, agent, publicist, bloggers, author friends, family, and so on. But most of all – celebrate! You have published a book, and that is a major life achievement.

IWSG~Winter Blues Making You Crazy?

More Participants Found HERE & a special
'thank you' to this meme's hosts
Christine RainsC. Lee McKenzie, and Tara Tyler. We all suffer from the winter blahs. The months of February and March drag on like a lame dog doing the dead-man's crawl across the Sahara Desert uphill both ways.
Here in Maine, it's like endless gray. Lifeless. Dull. Wet. Gloomy. Filthy. And there's sand. And salt.
Did I mention salt? The stuff that eats your car, scratches your interior floors, and stains everything white! Like we don't have enough white with the snow.
So what's a person to do?
Look on the bright side - close your eyes and picture a candle ... lit.Find the rainbow in the clouds - buy a colorful skein of yard, cut pieces into strands, and braid. Shoelaces work, too.See the glass half full - fill a tall glass halfway with water and then pour that into a smaller glass. If you use wine ... drink.Just smile - use red lipstick and a cutout of the Joker's mouth. Trace and bare it. No lipstick? See #3 above, only use a large rimmed glass and milk ... drink. Honestly, this one will probably make you laugh. Count your blessings - collect all the out-of-place belongings others who live in your house NEVER take care of (plates, silverware, socks, underwear included), stuff into garbage bags, and store in a private place only you know about. When they discover their missing items, go to your private place, stare at the bags and laugh. I honestly have done this and it made me feel better. If all that fails move to St Martin or someplace warmer.
Any good cliches to add to my list of snark? The purpose of the IWSG is to share and encourage, posting on the first Wednesday of each month. You'll find writer doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Support and a common understanding spread throughout the group as many fellow writers can relate. Wistful YA~PERIL BEYOND THE WATERFALL by Christine Porter & A GIVEAWAY!

Please welcome young adult fantasy author Christine Porter! I met Christine through the group #WO2016 (Waiting-On 2016) - a co-op of authors with books releasing this year. Follow that site to find out about all the new and upcoming releases for 2016! Now, let's take a peek at Christine's first release. Oh, and don't forget to enter her giveaway below...
AMAZONGOODREADS Description: In the magical empire of Laenutia, beyond a gateway of cascading water, lies a kingdom in peril. The forces of evil are gathering, ready to oust the rightful rulers of the land. Chaos hovers as the ruthless Prince Validin sets his plans in motion.
But there is hope. For in the sleepy village of Omondei lives a small, insatiably curious boy called Jeremiah, who dreams of doing something extraordinary. When Jeremiah is asked to travel beyond the walls of Omondei, he leaps at the chance. Along with a band of intrepid adventurers, Jeremiah is quickly drawn into an astonishing whirlwind of trickery and danger, where nothing is as it seems, and not everyone can be trusted.
Who is the rightful ruler of Laenutia? And why are so many people desperate to win Jeremiah over to their side? The deeper Jeremiah travels towards the heart of this mystery, the closer he comes to learning who he is, what choices he has to make, and what his dreams foretell.
Hi Christine! Sounds like Jeremiah might be more important than he thinks.
I'm so glad you contacted me to be featured in the Alleyway. Could you tell the audience a little about yourself?  I am a South African writer of YA fantasy (for the freshly YA). This is largely because I refuse to take anything seriously, and believe things should be bent to my will. I did not anticipate that characters, much like people, have minds of their own and often will not be told. I am the middle of three sisters, bilingual, staunchly South African and an avid tourist (but a terrible photographer). When I'm not writing or travelling, I run a small electronic bookshop and provide friendly advice and manuscript prep services to other writers.
You run an electronic bookshop? That's fascinating. Tell us a bit more about that. The electronic bookstore (www.ereads.co.za) is South Africa focused, although open to international authors. I call it 'self-publishing on steroids'. I offer publishing services, like editing, design and conversion, and provide a platform for authors to sell their books. There's a lot of red tape with international platforms, especially if you write in a language other than English. This provides an alternative.
Very cool... So, what's your writing process like? I'm still figuring out the process that works best for me. I started writing Peril Beyond the Waterfall when I was 17, and went straight into the first draft, with zero plotting and zero character development. The details, dodgy plot points, character personalities were ironed out as I wrote and rewrote, and got feedback from beta readers, friends and fellow writing course students. With Night of the Cologoro, I had a better plot outline before starting out, and as such the drafting went a lot faster, but because I was reusing characters, I didn't really develop new ones, or old ones further until I started drafting. With book three, I am working on plots and characterization first, and will only start the draft once i know who I'm working with. The only constant so far is that I like to write in silence, preferably in the garden.
Wow, you were young when you began writing this story. I like how you just plowed right through it all. If you could be a fictional character, who would it be and why? Can I be The Doctor, please? I realise he's not a literary character, but all those adventures! All of time and space! I could meet so many cool author people, do such wonderful real-life research on ancient cultures and more recent history, meet aliens, walk on Mars. Fun!
Your local grocery store has run out of your favorite writing snack--what would your second choice be and why? If there were no more Whispers I would be a very sad panda indeed, but I could just about settle for a bag of jelly beans.
Sugar always works, right? Thank you for joining us and for offer up copies of your book!
Christine continues Jeremiah's tale in book II - Night of the Cologoro (Histories of Laenutia, #2) - releasing in May.  Description:  The shadowy figure of a cow is haunting the fields of Dumnien. A curiosity, certainly, but not much to worry about, is it? Until cows start going missing across the province, that is.Curiosity leads Morgan and Jeremiah to investigate further. The more they investigate, the more they realise that the situation is far more horrifying and sinister than even they could imagine. Determined to discover just what has brought the cologoro to Dumnien, and to put a stop to it, the boys band together to tackle the beast. Find Christine on Facebook and Twitter!

Wistful YA ~ ABANDONED by Ellen Fritz & A Writer's Critique!

Wistful YA is my reoccurring spotlight, giving young adult literature center stage.
One of the first things I revealed about myself here on Writer's Alley was that I'm a hopeless romantic. #restspalmonforehead There's no denying it. But sometimes romance is preceded by despicable and fateful acts, leaving a soul's only salvation in love's hands. This next story is just that. Technically it's categorized as young adult, but some of the content is a little older. *Disclaimer: One aspect of the story, a violent topic in nature, is not be suitable for children; however, the act is no shown, but explored as a character develops.
Now to our next ... segment.
Meet ELLEN FRITZ, retired high school English teacher and School Counselor. She'd always heard the saying "Write what you know." Instead, she wrote for the audience I knew quite well - young adults. They recommended so many great books to Ellen over the years that she wanted to write some for them. Ellen is also the author of the young adult tale Mira. Find her on her WebsiteFacebook, and Goodreads
Hi Ellen! It's great to have you visit the Alleyway. I want to ask you firstly, what inspired you to write this story? The idea for the story came from the sense of abandonment I heard in the voices of many young people I worked with. My main character, Holly, has learned to take care of herself and get herself out of dangerous situations because there was no one else she could rely on.
That truly is admirable. I can only image what you've heard and seen as a high school counselor. Give us a little insight into Abandoned. The story starts in the middle of one of the worst days of Holly's life. Then it gets worse. Writing it, I simply followed the events that take her through joy, fear, anger and despair.
Turmoil  right from the get-go. Great way to start a story. Tell us about Holly.  Holly has no one she can really trust, so she depends on herself. Attacked, near death, she finally enters a life where she can learn that others care enough to defend and protect her.
Tell us something people wouldn't suspect about you. People are always surprised that I've enjoyed Fantasy/Science Fiction my whole life. I think it started in high school when a teacher assigned Lord of the Rings as required reading. I've mentally thanked her every day since. Lord of the Rings, now there's some fantasy! What can your readers expect next from you? Look forward to Book II, Vulnerable, and Book III, Forsaken. Abandoned should be out as an Audio Book soon.
Let's take a peek at Abandoned.  AMAZONAbandoned - Book I of the In the Night Seriesby Ellen Fritz
Genre: Young/Adult Fantasy Publisher: Tell-Tale Publishing Pages: 292 pages
Description:        Where do you run in the middle of the night when you hear your uncle join your parents, all planning to continue the drinking that has already been going on for hours?  The uncle who raped you.  The one that your parents believe when he says he never touched you.        Abandoned plunges the reader into the story of seventeen year old Holly Locke, whose home life is barely tolerable at the best of times.  She starts a job cleaning a bar so she can move away from her parents.  It quickly becomes the one place she thinks she’s finally found acceptance and security, until she witnesses three vampires feeding.        Holly is attacked, must be changed to a vampire to save her life, and joins a world very different from her old one.  She is trusted, respected, and quickly falling in love with Parker.  But Parker is human.  A human that, with every kiss, drives her closer to her uncontrollable desire to drain him.
Passage:        Holly’s heart beat faintly and slowly, but Quinton couldn’t get her to start breathing again on her own.  She was dying in front of them.        “Change her,” Parker almost whispered.        Byron just turned his head and looked at him.        “You know you have to.  We can’t just let her die!  If she dies, it’s our fault!”  Parker’s voice was frantic.  By the time he finished speaking, he was shouting.        Quinton turned his face from Holly’s lips.  “It’s my fault!” He shouted back at Parker.  “I was following them, but let them get too far ahead of me.  I should have been able to get there sooner.”  He gave up on the mouth-to-mouth and stood next to the bed with his anger and frustration radiating out of him.        Parker put both hands on the mattress and leaned forward gazing into Byron’s eyes.  “Please don’t let her die,” he begged.  “Please.”        Byron squeezed his eyes shut for a moment and then looked back at Parker.  Without saying a word, he lifted his own wrist to his mouth and bit into his vein.  Quinton reached down and gently opened Holly’s mouth again.
Thank you for sharing yourself with us, Ellen. All the best to you!
Alleywalkers, Ellen has offered up a first three chapter critique for any young adult manuscript! I'll keep the offer open until February 25th. To qualify, just have the first three chapters of your YA manuscript ready to critique and ENTER below. A winner will be chosen randomly.

IWSG~Fasting It

We've all heard of fasting. You know, going without food for xyz period of time. Yeah, but that's not the fasting I'm talking about today. It's actually the total opposite. Fasting as in I'm gonna speed through this draft, kind of fasting it is what I mean.
image creditI must completely draft book II in my MG series over the next four weeks, which means consuming more wordage in a short period of time than I've ever done before.
Feeling a little stressed and insecure, am I? Why yes, thank you for asking. But I'm also feeling empowered.
Writing is like everything else in life. It's an opportunity to grow and learn more about ourselves as individuals and our place in the grand tapestry of existence. How will I ever grow if I won't push myself? I won't. I'm at a stage in my writing life where it's time I reach for that next hurdle and become more. A lot of pulled muscles and grumbling may be involved, but I'll heal. So if I'm a tad scarce over the next few weeks this is the reason. Feel free to drop by any of my social media outlets to offer a word of advice, encouragement, or even some cyber chocolate. Wine works, too.
Anyone ever fast drafted a novel? How long did it really take you for how much wordage? Any tips?
The purpose of the IWSG is to share and encourage, posting on the first Wednesday of each month. You'll find writer doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Support and a common understanding spread throughout the group as many fellow writers can relate. Feel free to JOIN in anytime.
Merci!

Wistful YA~Meet Noll of NOBODY'S GODDESS by Amy McNulty

Wistful YA is my reoccurring spotlight, giving young adult literature center stage.
I LOVE meeting characters! It's part of reading. So today meet Noll, whose world might seem like a girl's paradise at first glance, but I have a feeling there's a ton more to her story then she lets on here.
Hi Noll! Before we share your story's blurb, show off its cover, and get to the great giveaway by your creator, why don't you tell   the audience a bit about yourself. I'm from a village where all the men are masked until they earn the love of their goddesses. (A "goddess" is what we call the woman who is the object of a man's affections. There's one different woman for every man.) I'm already sixteen and I'm still nobody's goddess. And Jurij, the boy I have feelings for, will only ever love my sister, because he found the goddess in her. *slight pause* She didn't even like him, and he was my closest friend!
Oh wow... I'm so sorry. But now I'm curious about your village and the working dynamics. There must be someone keeping track of all this, someone in charge. Sure. My village is surrounded by mountains. There's a castle beyond the woods where our lord lives, but he never comes down to visit us, even though we all say he's "always watching." Women aren't even allowed to look at his castle or the earth shakes!
Geez... Not sure I'd ever come visit. #NoOffense What about work? What would you like to do if you could do anything there?  Woodcarver, like my father and my friend, Alvilda. I'm already learning the trade from Alvilda.
That sounds pretty cool. Do you have a quirk or something that is just you? I'm stubborn to a fault.
I think we all can hold that fault at times, and let's put it to the test. You can choose to be any fictional character. Who is it and why?  Katniss Everdeen because I love how she was a hero and stood up for the things most important to her.
Katniss is a great female heroine. Great aspirations! It was great to meet you, Noll. Thanks so much for leaving your signature in the Alleyway. And now to share a little more....
AMAZONNobody's GoddessBook One in the Never Veil Series
Description: In a village of masked men, magic compels each man to love only one woman and to follow the commands of his “goddess” without question. A woman may reject the only man who will love her if she pleases, but she will be alone forever. And a man must stay masked until his goddess returns his love—and if she can’t or won’t, he remains masked forever. Seventeen-year-old Noll isn't in the mood to celebrate. Her childhood friends have paired off and her closest companion, Jurij, found his goddess in Noll’s own sister. Desperate to find a way to break this ancient spell, Noll instead discovers why no man has ever chosen her. Thus begins a dangerous game between the choice of woman versus the magic of man. And the stakes are no less than freedom and happiness, life and death—and neither is willing to lose.

MMGM~A Little Fright Before Christmas In January

Read on for my next contribution to Shannon Messenger's MMGM genius plan to give middle grade reads their just due! Click HERE for the other participants.
We've all heard of the slogan Christmas in July and of course 'tis the Christmas season. But today I want to look at the period of time just after Christmas, when we're ready to move toward springtime yet hold onto a bit of Christmas cheer. Here's a collection of Christmas tales I'd recommend for middle graders, high school students, and adults alike all the year through.

FRIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS13 tales of holiday horrors (I don't know why but each time I read that tagline I want to go Mmwaahhhhh...)
Publisher: Leap BooksReleased: November 2015Pages: 192Format: Hardcover, Paperback, eBook
Description: It's the most wonderful time of year...or is it?
Christmas Eve is a night of mystery and magic, but not always in ways we expect. Things lurk in the shadows and they're not the least bit jolly or merry. Let's just say some presents are better left unopened.‘Tis the season to be screaming along with our thirteen tales of holiday horrors. Ghosts. Monsters. Demons. And more! This Christmas, be careful what you wish for... COVETED! A MUST READ!
My Splats: Familiar holiday tales of wonder and awe, wrapped in spooky, creepy, and mysterious packages.
The collection of stories are tweaked just enough with the odd and eerie to put a new spin on beloved Christmas elements. One story will make you think twice about the true meaning of Santa's Naughty list, while another will convince you to buy an artificial tree for your living room next year.
A few tales tell of gory fates, nothing too descriptive or visual, but will leave the imagination of some readers hungry for more. The family unit is included in some, diversity in dynamics and interactions too! There's life lessons for everyone; granted, a few are far-fetched, but fun and lessons nonetheless. The creativity is clever, inventive, and thought-provoking. And there's suspense, too, with creatures stalking a group of kids or an army of snowmen knocking on your door.
'K pause, An army of snowmen knocking on my door... Get a visual? #shivers
The writing is clear and concise. There are stories such as Bigfoot Busters and North Pole Coal that flow with a distinct and crisp voice. Others showcase fantastical details like Frosted.
I really enjoyed this collection's wit, plausibility, and hair-raising twists on familiar holiday songs, customs, and even food. ;) On aspect I want to point out is that some of the tales dug deep into little known facts of Christmas' past and what the holiday was prior to our modern day. It was kind of a history lesson, and I know for, it made me want to know more.
What's the last story you read out of season?
Splat Alert #1: It's my 24th wedding anniversary today. Feels kind of weird ... weird, but good. :)
Splat Alert #2: Oh, and don't think I've forgotten to share what's going on with my journey! I'll share more soon. My dad had surgery Friday. So being there for him and my mom, who needs lots of care because of her multiple sclerosis, has kept me busy. Thx for understanding!
