Union City - signed 'cinema ticket' inserts

With publication of my monograph on the 1980 film, Union City, imminent, I thought I'd share a photograph about the signed 'cinema tickets' which will be included as inserts within the first 200 copies sold. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel where a virus causes animals to inexplicably attack humans and in the process of doing so somehow exchanges genes leading to animal/human mutations and adaptations. The story then really goes for it in the second half ...more

"A novel of the World, the Flesh, and the Devil. Also what God is or is not. Reminiscent of Corman’s take on the Masque of the Red Death in parts. Physical and earthy, but also searching for the spirit. A horror novel from the 21st century’s plague ye" Read more of this review »

I thoroughly enjoyed this medieval fantasy novel, although the words 'medieval' and 'fantasy' fall far short of categorising this book, which is more of a literary exploration of faith and filth, and would suggest a genre I wouldn't normally read. I ...more
