Original Online Regency Serial
Hi Everyone,
My mother, sister and I are heading to the 2012 Jane Austen Festival Australia this coming April and, for a bit of fun, I am writing an original Regency serial titled 'Trust and Tribulation' for the festival blog. The serial will be posted every Monday for ten weeks and will follow the adventures of Anthea Stanwell and her sister as they learn about love and life at a Regency house party (with some bits of the JAFA festival thrown in!). It's a hoot to write and, I hope, a lot of fun to read. The serial will culminate in a competition to write the final instalment, however entry is only open to season ticket holders of the 2012 Jane Austen Festival Australia.
I have posted the first instalment on the JAFA blog so click here – http://janeaustenfestival.blogspot.com/ to read Chapter 1. I hope you enjoy it and if you are a season ticket holder, maybe you will be inspired to release your inner Jane Austen or Georgette Heyer!

In other news, I am thrilled to report that EONA, the sequel to EON, has been listed as a 2011 LOCUS Recommended Read! LOCUS, the magazine for the Science Fiction and Fantasy Field, publishes a list of Best Reads every year. The books are chosen by a consensus of the magazine's editors and reviewers.
